I Felt Like I Had An Advantage In The Veterinary Industry

Being a CVP Student Ambassador, I felt like I had an advantage in the veterinary industry having had the opportunity to meet other vet students, and other CVP veterinarians and executives. It was a great way to connect with people in the industry and classmates at other vet schools as well.

I think that one of the biggest things for me though, is that it helped me build confidence and reassured me that I wasn't alone in the veterinary world. People talk about how small the veterinary world is, but in reality, when you're a vet student and you're new to that world, it sometimes feel like you are alone. Being part of CVP helped me meet all of these people that were going through a lot of the same things and we got a chance to get to know each other. And some of those people I still keep in touch with to this day!
