Through on-campus outreach programs and initiatives, our Student Ambassadors help veterinary students engage in opportunities to help them thrive.
CVP is pleased to offer externships to veterinary students. Our hospital teams seek to support the veterinary student as they improve and enhance their technical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
"The CVP Student Colleague Program was different from others I had experienced. I was emotionally and financially supported by CVP and they were really connected with me the whole time. Everyone at my hospital site was very accepting and being new, regardless of being a student or not, is scary. It was a great way to connect with people in the industry and classmates at other vet schools as well. I think that one of the biggest things for me though, is that it helped me build confidence and reassured me that I wasn't alone in the veterinary world. People talk about how small the veterinary world is, but in reality, when you're a ..."
